Professional training organizer: British Study Centres Mobility date: 26.10 – 06.11.2015. Mobility location: Oxford, England The objective of this course is to improve the teaching skills of preschool educators, who are expected to set the ground elements of the English language curriculum for the development of language skills of preschool children. The course presented a number of opportunities for the development of language skills, which can be implemented into the curriculum for preschool children, who are in this stage developing their basic knowledge. The contents and forms of activities, learning and teaching methods: - in the first week the focus was on demonstration of teaching and the use of CLIL methodology adaptation and exploitation of materials in the context of the preschool CLILa - - focus is on fonetics and the development of teaching language techniques applicable to the preschool CLIL methodology - course included the daily practical lectures related to the preparation of a preschool CLIL micro lessons - in the second week, the course included practical application of these micro-lessons with your teachers and colleagues i order to apply in practice the methodology discussed at the course Daily activities are organized after the mandatory classes in which we could participate according to personal interests, including tours of museums, colleges, and other cultural sites accompanied by a guide. Darija and Carmela: "For us personally, this mobility was a beautiful personal and professional experience. We lived for two weeks in England, made new contacts, visited partners on another project in Northampton and educated ourselves all the while – it was priceless. " |
