PLAY TO LEARN: Teaching and Learning Strategies combining Games and Technology
in the Classroom (Teaching and learning strategies combining games and
technology in the classroom); in Dublin from November 9 to November 14, 2014.
The organizer of professional training is an organization Interacting SLSA based in Madrid. Participants had the opportunity to learn different strategies of learning through games and how to use them in working with children. Strategies are innovative, creative and teachers and participants practiced them working in teams, in pairs and in small groups. Most interesting games and activities are verbal and non-verbal communication Action and words, activities that improve listening skills and vocal techniques Building blocks for dialogues and techniques of storytelling that includes Storytelling techniques participants . Certain parts of learned lessons, games and activities will be used in speech therapy practice and big part of the knowledge gained and learned will be transferred to preschool educators who can apply in their daily work with children. |
