jobshadowing - snježana Vasiljević mahan, Snježana moštak
Within the framework of the Erasmus + project, the key activity 1- Mobility for Individuals in the kindergarten called "Building a Better World by Knowing" from March 4 to 8, 2019, Snježana Vasiljević Mahan and Snježana Moštak, took part in a five-day exchange of good practice (Job shadowing) in the kindergartens Frida Forskola in Molnlycke and Gothenburg in Sweden.
The Fridaschool schools are independent preschool, school and secondary schools for children and adolescents from one year up to the age of nineteen. This organization started working in 1993 when five teachers decided to create a school in which they would use a variety of teaching and learning methods. Today Fridaskolan has schools in Vänesborg, Udevalla, Trollhättan, Möllencke and Gothenburg.
The vision/moto of the school is in the form of a train symbol: "Education is a journey where you set goals for yourself; you pack a backpack with the things you will need on that path of learning and go on your way. "
The children in Fridaskolan are taught to ask these questions often:
Where do I want to go?
How to get to it?
How do I prepare to reach the goals I have just imagined and how to prepare for changes on that path?
In Fridaskola, students are experienced "backpackers", they are not like chartered tourists who are all served on a plate.
The main goal of the teachers’ stay was to inspect models of work with children of early age in the interior and exterior. Every day they followed the performance plan and program within the regular preschool program, ways of planning work with children and documenting.
"This is a very valuable and special trip for us, and it is the merit of our Director and Coordinator who have had created good contacts for partnership and cooperation in one of their Erasmus + Mobility projects. The organizer has done everything so we can feel welcomed and accepted by the staff. Thanks to all those who made our trip an unforgettable experience. "
